Girls & young women
Our priority — building confidence and leadership through sport.
Confidence, leadership and belonging — built on the pitch.
Community Football brings grassroots tournaments and coaching to neighbourhoods across Kenya, with a strong focus on girls and young women. It's about far more than the game — every match builds confidence, leadership and a sense of belonging that lasts well beyond the final whistle.

In many communities, girls are the first to be left out of sport. Community Football flips that — creating safe, welcoming spaces where young women lead, compete and grow. The result is a generation that carries the teamwork, confidence and resilience of sport into school, work and community life.

Our priority — building confidence and leadership through sport.
Partnering to run leagues, training and tournaments.
Bringing neighbourhoods together around the game.
Regular community and inter-school tournaments that bring teams together.
Structured sessions led by trained coaches and mentors.
Dedicated leagues and sessions so girls always have a place to play.
Boots, balls and kit so cost is never a barrier to playing.
Players are paired with mentors who support them on and off the pitch.
Players grow into captains, referees and young coaches.
Beyond the numbers, coaches tell us the real change is in confidence — players who arrive shy and leave leading their teams, their classrooms and their communities.
