Community first
We are rooted in local communities and led by local needs.
Path to Russia is a grassroots community organization working across 11 counties in Kenya. Through cultural exchange, education, sport and digital skills, we help young people see further — and strengthen the bonds between Kenya and Russia along the way.

To widen horizons for young people in Kenya — connecting communities to global culture, learning and opportunity, so every child can imagine a bigger future and gain the tools to reach it.

Path to Russia began with a simple belief: a young person's horizons should not be limited by where they happen to be born. What started as a handful of cultural workshops in local schools has grown into a network of programmes spanning education, sport, digital skills and cross-cultural exchange.
We work where opportunity is needed most — in classrooms, on football pitches, and in community spaces turned into coding labs. Everything we do is rooted in the communities we serve, and shaped alongside the schools, families and county partners who know them best.
Today our work reaches young people across 11 counties — and we are only getting started.
Cultural exchange introduces young people to new languages, art, history and ways of seeing the world. It builds curiosity, confidence and global awareness — the very qualities that open doors to scholarships, careers and lifelong connection.
Our work is cultural and human, never political. We bring people together around learning, sport and shared opportunity — and in doing so, we strengthen the ties between Kenya and Russia, one relationship at a time.

Path to Russia is led by a small, committed team and guided by partners across the communities we serve. As we grow, we are building a governance structure that keeps us accountable, transparent and close to the ground.

Every programme we run starts with the same question: who in this community still needs a door opened for them? That's the work — and it's never finished.
