Muguru Primary and Secondary School Visit
Objectives
The visit to Muguru Primary and Secondary School was designed to assess the learning environment and identify where Path to Russia could support education, documentation, and student welfare.
What Happened
On 9 September 2025, the team visited the ACK-founded school in Kangema Town. The school serves 1,295 learners and has positive academic strengths, including strong English performance, internet access, and a computer laboratory with ten computers.
Key Moments
The visit revealed important gaps: approximately 100 students lack birth certificates, affecting official registration and progression; younger learners rely on county-provided porridge; and vulnerable learners need practical support to remain steady in school.
Why It Mattered
Muguru became a key point for both cultural exchange and scholarship work. The visit helped identify individual learners, including Henry Kambo, whose academic promise could be protected through targeted support.
