Objectives

The IMPREZZA visit aimed to bring cultural learning to children from highly vulnerable households while understanding the school's most urgent support needs.

What Happened

On 2 August 2025, 68 students joined an interactive session on Russian greetings, the alphabet, culture, and personalized wristbands. The school, founded by Hon. Catherine Omanyo, serves 260 learners and remains a daily source of food and care for many children.

Key Moments

Students welcomed Kate warmly when she addressed them in Swahili and quickly learned basic Russian introductions. They were fascinated by the idea that Moscow and Yakutsk can be in different time zones.

Why It Mattered

IMPREZZA is both a school and a safety net. The visit identified practical ways partners can help: feeding support, sustainable farming tools for rocky land, and football equipment that gives children healthy recreation.
